The upgraded PRES Ibex4 2008 loudspeaker employs the ambient sound field concept that made the vintage PRES Dual loudspeaker line so distinctive. The enhanced vertical dispersion and ambient realism is a distinctive Pres Speaker characteristic. The new 8" magnesium frame bass driver, is a long excursion, treated paper cone, with non resonant suspension coupling for smooth, linear, stable response. The 1.25" dome is coated textile with an aluminum chassis. It's high power handling (70W) and sensitivity (93dB) insure consistant linear function. The vertical and ambient audio spectrum is provided by a top mounted 3/4" textile dome tweeter. You will love this speaker for stereo playback or for your Home Theater audio system main speakers.
